Pilates Apparatus

The Reformer

The reformer is the most famous and main piece of Pilates equipment and was developed by Joe Pilates based on an old hospital bed. Working against spring reistance, it offers a total body workout that challenges your body in every plane of movement.

The Cadillac

The cadillac also known as the trapeze table, was originally designed by Joe Pilates for his bedridden patients. The cadillac can be used for individuals requiring rehabilitative care to seasoned Pilates clients. The cadillac uses a series of flowing, endurance building exercises to mobilize your spine and increase range of motion, build core strength, work on coordination and tone.

The Ladder Barrel

The ladder barrel is used for flexibility and core conditioning. Exercises vary from sitting on the barell and using the ladder to stretching feet over the barrel while leaning against the ladder. This apparatus is a favorite of many of our clients for stretching the spine at the end of a workout.

The Wunda Chair

The Wunda Chair is utilized by sitting, standing, lying and leaning on the chair both with and without the handles. This versatile device provides a challenging workout to even the most experienced Pilates client.

The Guillotine Tower
